The chances are, most likely you patronize some chains. Whether these are take out fast or sit down and enjoy style restaurants, it can be difficult to eat healthy when visiting these places. No worries you can still eat right – that is if you have will power. There are many different foods on the menus at these mainstream eateries that are full of fat and grease, but you don’t have to eat them.
Most also offer appetizers that are lighter as well. Try a salad as well for a lighter meal. You can eat these foods in lieu of the fattier foods offered. Look out for greasy or fatty meats, deep fried food, and things that are full of and/or covered in cheese.

Grilling is much better for your heart as opposed to frying because they aren’t soaked in grease and oil. If grilling isn’t an option you can also get them baked in many places. If you have to order fried food, you’ll want to get them pan fried as opposed to deep fried reason being you don’t want to eat anything that has been dunked in grease for any amount of time. As a side to your lean meat, make sure that you get plenty of fresh vegetables.
Many restaurants might not offer fresh veggies, . As a side ask for salad instead of fried potatoes and take a close look at the information when it comes to which meals are ‘lean’ or ‘calorie reduced’. Some chain restaurants are very good about giving information on their lighter fare so take advantage of that but make up your own mind.
